The Inside Sales Representative will generate new business through outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting. This role focuses on cold outreach via phone and email, re-engaging lapsed clients, and creating new sales opportunities within targeted geographic areas and product verticals. The position works closely with senior sales leadership to warm leads and hand off qualified prospects for closing.
Conduct high-volume outbound calls and email follow-ups to businesses within defined geographic territories, particularly in the Eastern U.S.
Re-engage past or lost customers with tailored messaging related to print and direct mail advertising products.
Use internal CRM systems and tools to identify, track, and engage potential clients.
Qualify leads based on geography, product relevance, and market opportunity.
Educate prospects on the company’s direct mail and print advertising solutions to build interest.
Schedule sales appointments for senior sales team members.
Apply a consultative approach to understand prospect needs and align them with appropriate offerings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead records in the internal CRM.
Ensure consistent follow-up to move prospects from cold to warm stages.
Collaborate closely with senior sales leaders to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
2+ years of experience in inside sales, cold calling, or B2B lead generation.
Experience in advertising, media, or related sales environments is preferred.
Exposure to print, shared mail, or digital advertising is a plus.
Experience working within targeted territories or geographic campaigns is preferred.
Previous experience selling to small-market or lower to mid-sized population business clients is a plus.
Proficiency using CRM systems and outbound communication tools such as email, phone, and LinkedIn.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey value clearly and efficiently.
Ability to manage time, organize outreach efforts, and work independently.
Proactive, motivated mindset with enthusiasm for outbound prospecting and relationship building.
Consistently meeting or exceeding targets for appointments booked and leads qualified.
Demonstrating strong understanding of advertising products and clearly communicating their value.
Maintaining a well-organized pipeline with clean handoffs to senior sales representatives.
Building credibility and trust with prospects through persistent, professional outreach.
