Job Description:
As a member of the Product & Commercial Legal Services Team, this team member will provide high-quality commercial contract support to Sandisk’s Procurement Organization, including implementation and ongoing management of a new contract lifecycle management system. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record of successfully deploying and optimizing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions, with some prior experience negotiating and administering commercial contracts strongly preferred. This full-time position will report to the Director, Global Commercial Contracts, and is based at Sandisk’s office in Milpitas, California or Irvine, California, or Remote (Pacific hours).
Responsibilities include:
· Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing support of Sandisk’s new CLM system, including configuration, testing and launch.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for the CLM vendor and internal stakeholders and provide ongoing support to all system users.
· Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide variety of commercial contracts, including, but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, professional services agreements, purchase agreements, engagement letters, statements of work, amendments, and other business/legal documents.
· Support and collaborate with internal stakeholders to advise on risks associated with each transaction while ensuring compliance to company policies
· Work closely with commercial contracts attorneys within the Product & Commercial Legal Services Team and various teams within the Legal Department.
· Work on special projects, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
· 5+ years of professional and technical experience in implementing and managing a CLM system with a in-depth understanding of the contract lifecycle, from request and drafting to negotiation and post-execution management.
· Experience directly managing and negotiating commercial contracts is strongly preferred
· Understanding of commercial and legal contract terms.
· Experience working in (or with) technology companies or in the technology industry is preferred.
· Self-starter who takes ownership of work and demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a team environment.
· Ability to effectively identify goals and communicate and identify risks and proposed go-forward strategies with internal business clients.
· Strong attention to details and strong analytical skills.
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
· Track record of providing high-quality, timely results on a wide variety of contract matters.
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
