Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Life Enrichment staff for assisted living and memory care programs
- Design, implement, and manage diverse wellness, recreation, lifelong learning, and cultural engagement activities
- Plan and coordinate events, outings, and individualized activities tailored to residents’ needs
- Collaborate with residents, families, interdisciplinary clinical teams, and Sales & Marketing to ensure engagement and promote programs
- Manage departmental budget, purchasing, activity calendars, and related documentation
- Support campus-wide events and contribute to Byer Square program development
Education
- BA/BS in recreation therapy, psychology, healthcare, gerontology or related field required
- Master’s degree in related field preferred
- CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) certification preferred
