Position Summary
This is a temporary, intermittent position with an expected duration of 30 days. The role has no specific work hour expectations, is not eligible for benefits, and will conclude at the end of the assignment period unless otherwise extended by the Company. The incumbent will work for PMA Consultants on an as-needed basis, with hours assigned and approved by local leadership in accordance with client needs.
Reporting to the DCAMM Project Manager during Construction, this Resident Engineer/Clerk of the Works is responsible for on-site observations and daily reporting on progress, as well as monitoring and coordinating testing and inspection services full-time during the construction phase. Communicate and collaborate with the Owner/Architect/OPM team to ensure project integrity and a high-quality work product that consistently meets or exceeds the project’s contract documents, drawings, and specifications. Maintain records at the OPM’s on-site field office, including but not limited to written and electronic correspondence, contract documents, change orders, change directives, reports, shop drawings, project data, and samples.

Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
