In this role, your day-to-day activities will involve translating complex design specifications into high-quality code. You will collaborate with the Design team to ensure that your components accurately reflect the intended user experience and aesthetics. By participating in code reviews and pair programming sessions, you will hone your ability to write clean, maintainable code while gaining invaluable feedback from seasoned engineers. Additionally, you will have access to ongoing learning opportunities to refine your understanding of React methodologies and best practices.

Beyond building React components, you will also be actively engaged in working with GraphQL APIs to develop and integrate new features within Rubrik Security Cloud. This includes fetching and managing data to ensure efficient and seamless user interactions. You will work on real-world problems, providing you with a significant understanding of how Frontend and backend systems communicate in enterprise production environments. During your time with Rubrik, you will have gained hands-on experience in web development, from initial design to deployment, and a comprehensive understanding of building scalable and high-performing applications within a SaaS product. What You’ll Do

• Translate Figma designs into responsive and reusable React components using JSX and CSS.
• Collaborate with the Design team to ensure UI/UX accuracy and aesthetics align with specifications.
• Collaborate with Backend developers to understand data requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions to enhance code quality and learn best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and guidelines.
• Work with GraphQL APIs to fetch and manage data for new features and functionalities within Rubrik Security Cloud.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the user interface, providing solutions and improvements.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of developed features.
• Attend daily stand-ups and team meetings to provide updates on progress and discuss any roadblocks.
• Document components, code logic, and workflows to maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in Frontend development.
• Contribute ideas to improve the overall user experience and performance of the application.
• Assist in the deployment and release process for new Frontend features.
• Engage in continuous learning and participate in training sessions or workshops as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• 0 - 2 years of Experience in Frontend Web Development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, including but not limited to asynchronous programming, closures, ES6, etc.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and core Computer Science concepts.
• Team Player: Be willing to roll up your sleeves and work cross-functionally.
• You are proactive and not afraid to drive towards finding a better solution.
• Curious, open-minded, and ego-free, with a growth mindset who thrives on continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications (bonus)

• Experience coding in React or a similar framework.
• Experience working with GraphQL or REST APIs.
• Prior internships or work experience.
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
