Backend Software Engineer

You will develop backend solutions that are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance, while collaborating closely with design and product teams to ensure intuitive and responsive applications. Accountabilities:

·         Develop and maintain backend components to enhance application responsiveness and performance.

·         Write efficient, scalable, and secure code using Python and related technologies.

·         Collaborate closely with design and product teams to implement intuitive, user-focused solutions.

·         Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in AI, NLP, and enterprise software development.

·         Investigate and resolve test failures, provide automation coverage analysis, and update tests as needed.

·         Work with cross-functional teams, including customer support and marketing, to optimize workflows and customer experiences.

·         Participate in CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and DevOps best practices to streamline software delivery.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience coding in Python.

·         Strong understanding of DevOps/DevTestOps/DevSecOps principles and CI/CD practices.

·         Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and RESTful API development.

·         Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, SAFe) and cross-functional team collaboration.

·         Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

·         Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-cultural environment.

·         U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; must reside in the Continental U.S.

·         Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred:

·         Experience in healthcare, CMS, or government-related systems.

·         AI and NLP experience.

·         Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect).
