AI/ML Software Engineer (Remote in Colorado)
Skills
- 5+ years writing ML code for launched products
- Production experience with LLMs and generative AI (RAG, LoRA, RLHF)
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience creating datasets from proprietary/anonymized data for training and fine-tuning
- Experience building and operating backend APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with vector databases and model-serving infrastructure
- Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn) and SQL
- Experience leading small development teams
Responsibilities
- Rapidly prototype AI product features and iterate based on feedback
- Design, implement, test, release and maintain generative AI features in production
- Build, train, fine-tune, deploy and maintain ML models and model-serving pipelines
- Create, monitor and troubleshoot backend APIs enabling frontends to interact with ML models
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data engineers, and QA to integrate AI into products
- Mentor and guide junior AI/ML developers
- Stay current with generative AI and machine learning research and techniques
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Master's degree or advanced study in ML/AI is a plus but not required
