Staff Offensive Security Engineer
Skills
- 8+ years of Red Team/offensive security experience
- Strong exploit development and vulnerability research skills
- Deep familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and adversarial methodologies
- Experience attacking cloud-native stacks (AWS/GCP, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with Linux and macOS environments
- Ability to read/write Python, Go, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of defensive tooling (EDR, IDS/IPS, packet capture) and evasion techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and executive audiences
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute long-term, black-box Red Team exercises including vulnerability research and exploit development.
- Perform threat modeling, penetration testing, code and architecture reviews for critical systems.
- Run adversarial simulation exercises with Detection & Response and other stakeholders to validate detection and response capabilities.
- Partner with physical security to assess properties and with product teams to advise on secure designs and mitigations.
- Develop tooling and automation to support Red Team activities and streamline assessments.
- Evangelize findings to engineering and executive stakeholders and drive remediation to completion.
- Mentor and guide other Offensive Security team members and lead security incidents when needed.
- Publish research and present findings at conferences and internal forums.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
