Skills
- 8+ years software engineering or integration architecture experience with successful project delivery.
- Hands-on experience with IPaaS tools like Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Expertise in cloud-native integrations on AWS, Azure, or GCP using serverless or microservice architectures.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or equivalent languages.
- In-depth knowledge of JSON, XML, CSV, and real-time/batch data processing.
- Familiarity with integration reliability patterns such as retries, backoff, idempotency, and circuit breakers.
- Strong automation skills including CI/CD and automated testing at multiple levels.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration design, architecting robust and resilient integrations using IPaaS and custom components.
- Define and evolve reusable integration frameworks and API/data-mapping standards.
- Participate in full lifecycle development from requirements to deployment with automated testing.
- Mentor engineers on best practices in integration development, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, customer-facing teams, and engineering leaders to deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Build and maintain observability tools and evolve deployment pipelines to ensure SLAs and rapid iteration.
- Identify and adopt emerging integration technologies and event-driven or AI-assisted patterns.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
