Skills
- Deep knowledge of GNSS systems including PVT calculation and error sources
- Solid understanding of inertial measurement units (gyroscopes, accelerometers) and sensor integration
- Experience in electronics design for harsh, mission-critical environments
- Strong hardware validation and debugging skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in aerospace or similar fields
Responsibilities
- Own development, testing, and integration of navigation system avionics used in the Terran R launch vehicle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct architectural trades and develop acceptance and qualification test plans
- Serve as subject matter expert on navigation sensor suites for vehicle landing, recovery, and reuse
- Develop and validate hardware bring-up, debugging, and data analysis processes
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
