Responsibilities: Manage customer relationships through the CRM, proactively engage with clients, and identify upsell opportunities to increase usage and renewal rates.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite, excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and experience in sales, especially with Salesforce; previous Higher Education experience is preferred.

Our Account Managers play a critical role in our sales team. They ensure our customers have everything they need to succeed as Macmillan customers, from providing instructor resources to arranging department and/or instructor training. Our Account Managers bridge the gap between our sales reps and Customer Support. They try to anticipate instructor and administrator needs before they arise, so every Macmillan customer is delighted. The primary goals of this role are to increase and maintain a base of business and upsell print business within an assigned territory. Teamwork, collaboration, and communication are keys to succeeding in this position. To be successful in this role, an Account Manager must have the ability to connect and engage with customers. This role does not have managerial responsibilities.

Exemption Status: Exempt
Physical Requirements: Requires periods of close concentration; must be able to multi-task and concentrate in noisy/busy environment. Must be able to sit for long periods of time . Must be able to travel occasionally; 2-4 times a year. Must be able to work overtime - more than 40 hours a week as needed.
This is a hybrid position that requires being in the Hamilton, NJ office 2-3 days per week.
