Interviewed this month, but not hiring until October/November

Don’t take it personally. A lot of orgs work on Q4 budgets so they hype interview process just to “be ready.”

had this happen. interviewed in June, didn’t hear back til DECEMBER. by then i already had a new job and forgot who they were 💀

If they were excited about you, they wouldn’t wait 3 months to move. I’d keep applying elsewhere tbh.

They probably don’t wanna lose headcount so they start early even without green light to hire

Seen it a lot lately companies “interviewing” months before budget approval. totally normal & totally annoying.

yeah that’s recruiter code for “we’re not actually ready to hire but want a pipeline just in case” 🙃
