Skills
- Strong verbal and written customer-facing communication
- Technical troubleshooting of software, hardware, or networking
- Familiarity with IoT devices or gateway systems (preferred)
- Ability to create clear documentation and knowledge base content
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments
- Willingness and ability to travel and perform basic on-site physical tasks
Responsibilities
- Act as first-line technical support for installers during Badge Alert installations
- Troubleshoot gateway connectivity and performance issues and escalate when needed
- Collaborate with Product, Implementation, and Support teams to resolve installation challenges
- Document installer communications, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
- Create SOPs and knowledge base articles for gateway installation and support
- Participate in onboarding and training to build product expertise
- Travel to customer sites (25–50%) for complex troubleshooting and installation assistance
- Perform occasional hands-on installation tasks (may require ladder use)
Education
- Associate’s Degree in a technical field required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
