The Opportunity

The Sr. Manager of Merchandising Strategy will lead and oversee strategic projects within the organization, aiming to optimize business processes, improve performance, and drive strategic initiatives. This role demands a blend of leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of business operations.

A central aspect of this role is acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team, offering strategic counsel and actionable insights that inform high-impact business decisions. By building strong, consultative relationships with leadership, the Sr. Manager ensures alignment between merchandising initiatives and broader organizational objectives, fostering credibility and confidence at the highest levels.

Your Impact

  • High-Level Presentation Organization: Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations to communicate strategy, project updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the organization's strategic goals.
  • Business Strategy Workflow Management: Oversee and continuously optimize the end-to-end Business Strategy Workflow process to ensure alignment, efficiency, and agility across all strategic projects.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of business operations and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress and impact of consulting initiatives.
  • Change Management: Facilitate the implementation of changes and ensure smooth transitions within the organization.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in business consulting or a related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Advanced PowerPoint Skills: Expertise in designing impactful presentations to clearly communicate complex ideas and support business recommendations.
  • Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
