What will be your daily pursuit?

As the Housing Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of employee housing facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for our team members. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high levels of team member satisfaction, engagement, and retention by addressing housing related needs and concerns promptly.

What will you do in this job?

HOUSING ADMINISTRATION

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of employee housing facilities across the collection.
  • Coordinate the allocation of beds based on each line of businesses and team member needs and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of occupancy, accommodation agreements, and maintenance requests.

COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members regarding housing-related inquiries, questions, and concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a positive and collaborative living environment.

MAINTENANCE AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of housing-related issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of housing units, in partnership with Operations, to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for necessary repairs and upgrades.

COMPLIANCE, POLICIES, AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT

  • Stay updated on local housing regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Develop and enforce company policies related to employee housing, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Assist in the development and management of the housing budget.
  • Monitor expenses related to housing facilities and identify cost-saving opportunities.

TEAM MEMBER ENGAGEMENT

  • Organize and participate in events or initiatives that promote a sense of community and well-being among team members.
  • Utilize the annual team member engagement survey to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and celebration as it relates to team member housing.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in property management, housing administration, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of local housing regulations and best practices.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and software.

What will your work environment be like?

This position is a field based position with roughly 75% of the time on-site at our housing properties across the Glacier Park Collection.
