Consulting Regional Partner Technical Manager - Northeast
Skills
- Channel account management and partner enablement
- Deep knowledge of enterprise storage architectures (SAN, NAS, DAS)
- Experience with FlashArray/FlashBlade or equivalent storage products
- Strong sales engineering and solution design capabilities
- Excellent public speaking and training delivery skills
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
- Competitive analysis and market positioning
- Familiarity with virtualization and hypervisor technologies (VMware, Citrix)
- Networking fundamentals (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
- Familiarity with AI/ML, Big Data, and modern web architectures preferred
Responsibilities
- Align Pure’s go-to-market strategy with assigned partners to drive growth and long-term relationships
- Design and deliver technical and sales enablement (training, roadshows, webinars) for partner teams
- Support pipeline development, sales qualification, and deal closures through partner channels
- Define and execute regional business plans and quarterly assessments for partner traction
- Recruit and onboard new channel partners to support regional growth
- Maintain competitive and market knowledge to position Pure solutions effectively
- Coordinate account mapping and relationship-building between Pure Sales and partners
- Act as technical advisor and advocate for partners across the full sales cycle
- Identify and document technical requirements for opportunities and collaborate on solution design
- Create and manage partner technical enablement plans and tooling requirements
- Provide ad-hoc evaluation and post-sales technical support and escalate as needed
- Present at national, regional and local channel marketing events
- Collaborate closely with Channel SEs, regional SEs, PAMs, and Pure training teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant vendor certifications (storage, virtualization, networking) are a plus
