- Proven experience delivering microservices-based systems (Java/Kotlin or similar)
- Strong background in scalable, highly available services and distributed systems
- Experience with agile practices and continuous improvement
- Excellent cross-group communication and stakeholder management
- History of building and growing engineering teams and mentoring managers
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and web/mobile/console integration
- Exposure to React/React Native, personalization, advertising tech, or ML/data-science is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and empower a growing team of engineers and people managers to deliver strategic business outcomes
- Establish and nurture a strong, inclusive engineering culture
- Plan, estimate, and slice projects to frequently deliver value to production across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with product, UX, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams across time zones
- Act as a change agent to support continuous improvement and drive technical and process decisions
- Balance priorities across multiple projects and advise on architecture and technical trade-offs
- Drive hiring, career development, and team levelling to increase organizational capability
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
