We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead a full stack engineering team in designing and delivering scalable cloud-based solutions. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse technology projects, mentor developers, and collaborate with product managers to build robust systems that support business and regulatory needs. You will work with modern programming languages, open source databases, container orchestration tools, and cloud platforms, driving innovation while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. This fully remote position allows you to lead, influence, and contribute to software engineering at scale.

Accountabilities

·         Lead a portfolio of full stack software projects, managing and mentoring a team of engineers across distributed microservices and cloud systems.

·         Collaborate with digital product managers and engineering peers to design and deliver innovative, scalable cloud-based solutions.

·         Stay current with emerging technologies, promote best practices, and actively contribute to internal and external technical communities.

·         Provide technical leadership, review code, and guide architectural decisions while maintaining high standards of code quality and system performance.

·         Support Agile development practices, including sprint planning, design reviews, and process improvements.

·         Drive adoption of cloud technologies, containerization, and modern development frameworks across the engineering team.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

·         6+ years of experience in software engineering, with 9+ years preferred in languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

·         Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with 4+ years preferred.

·         Experience with open source frameworks, distributed systems, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

·         Leadership or people management experience of 1+ year, mentoring engineers and guiding technical teams.

·         Strong understanding of Agile practices and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

·         Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on innovation and technical excellence.

·         Competitive salary range: $204,900 - $233,800 (Remote, Senior Lead Software Engineer).
