Volunteer Program Sales Consultant

Planet Aid is seeking a Volunteer Program Sales Consultant who is passionate about making a global impact and excels in relationship-building. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our International Volunteer Program, partnering with organizations, schools, and community groups to recruit volunteers for sustainable development projects in Africa. This position blends marketing, recruiting, and public speaking to raise awareness and achieve recruitment targets.


About the International Volunteer Program:

Planet Aid partners with Richmond Vale Academy, a renowned training center dedicated to preparing volunteers for sustainable development work. Volunteers engage in hands-on projects across various sectors such as agriculture, water management, education, and environmental conservation in local communities. Through this program, you’ll help recruit volunteers who are passionate about driving positive, tangible change.


Responsibilities:

  • Promote Planet Aid’s International Volunteer Program and achieve recruitment targets.
  • Host informational sessions and meetups to engage prospective volunteers.
  • Build partnerships with universities, schools, and associations to expand program outreach.
  • Represent Planet Aid at conferences, fairs, and other events to generate volunteer leads.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase program visibility through social media, blogs, and forums.
  • Prepare weekly reports on recruitment progress, using KPIs and CRM data to drive decisions.
  • Organize, plan, and manage a budget for volunteer recruitment initiatives.
  • Maintain an updated contact database and provide ongoing support to program participants.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, marketing, sales, or international development.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or related fields preferred.
  • Proven success in meeting recruitment or sales goals.
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies and CRM tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with public speaking experience.
  • Passion for sustainable development, environmental conservation, and human rights advocacy.
  • International work or volunteer experience is a plus.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to recruitment events (up to 20%).

Location: Elkridge, MD (In-Office Position)
