Sales Engineer II
Skills
- Experience with IAM concepts: authentication, authorization, SSO, federation, user lifecycle and provisioning.
- Working knowledge of IAM protocols and formats: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, JSON, XML.
- Competency with scripting and web development: JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Groovy, RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, proxies).
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills for partner enablement and demos.
- Ability to rapidly prototype demo apps, APIs and platform configurations to showcase solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with system integrator and channel partners to support partner-led sales.
- Deliver technical enablement, solution presentations, whiteboarding sessions, demos, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.
- Collaborate with Field SE and partner teams to develop reusable demonstration assets and joint solutions.
- Identify partner enablement gaps and create/execute plans to close them.
- Provide pre-sales technical guidance throughout qualification, discovery, and technical proof phases.
- Contribute to joint account activities, marketing events, and broader partner initiatives as needed.
- Travel up to 30% to support partner and customer engagements.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant professional certifications or hands-on IAM coursework preferred but not required.
