Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Mode, Tableau, Periscope, or ThoughtSpot
- Familiarity with dbtCore or dbtCloud is a plus
- Experience using R or Python for data analysis preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to present complex data clearly and simply
- Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Build dashboards and develop backend capabilities for Data Exploration tools like Mode, Looker, and dbtCloud
- Promote adoption of data exploration tools across the organization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data-driven projects and opportunities
- Perform deep dive analyses using advanced analytics techniques to generate business insights and recommendations
- Evaluate and optimize existing workflows and data pipelines
- Work with various stakeholder teams to design, test, and analyze user behavior data on apps and websites
- Design, execute, and measure results of A/B and multivariate tests
- Coordinate with data engineers to build and troubleshoot data pipelines
- Continuously improve analytics implementation and keep up with emerging digital trends
Education
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
