Skills
- Strong knowledge of reinforcement learning algorithms and theory.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with simulation environments e.g. MuJoCo, Isaac Gym.
- Understanding of probability, statistics, and optimization techniques.
- Experience training and deploying machine learning models in production.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate RL algorithms for robotic control, motion planning, and adaptive behaviors.
- Integrate RL policies with robot control systems within hardware and real-time constraints.
- Collaborate with perception teams to fuse RL with sensory data for robust decision-making.
- Build and maintain sim-to-real pipelines including domain randomization and transfer learning.
- Conduct experiments on physical robots ensuring safety and monitoring unexpected behaviors.
- Utilize simulation environments like Isaac Gym, Gazebo, MuJoCo, and PyBullet for training.
- Optimize model efficiency to meet compute and latency requirements on embedded systems.
Education
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
