CWITT is hiring an individual to provide TDA Technical Support to assist with the day-to-day performance of the CWITT test program. This position will report directly to the TDA Manager and will perform duties in support of program execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Designs and develops complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services.
Writes test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products and/or systems to meet performance standards and specifications.
Develops test simulations to evaluate how products and systems react under different conditions and analyzes product failure to assess the integrity and reliability of the product and/or system.
Collaborates with other engineering groups to improve or upgrade product or system performance.
Provides administrative support in the development and maintenance of engineering documents related to Naval Submarine new construction testing programs.
Utilizes computer-based tools to create technical and status reports that ensure factual accuracy and high quality, while meeting deadlines.
Collaborates with the Interactive Test Program (ITP) development team to assist in the development of new functionality and debugging of system software, including the logging of user and bug requests.
Conducts quality assurance reviews on engineering documents, compile discrepancy lists, and work with engineering and technical teams to resolve any discrepancies.
Aids in the generation and upkeep of Test and Evaluation operational procedures and reports within the program.
Minimum Requirements:
12 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have prior operational experience with the following:
10 years of New Construction Test Director experience.
6 years of experience with CWITT Interactive Test Program
3 years of experience in technical writing or engineering testing
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000. Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
