Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents following community and clinical standards
- Coordinate, supervise and evaluate resident care and document interventions
- Support resident and staff safety and follow facility policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, other departments and external providers
- Maintain a positive, professional image with residents, families and visitors
- Assist with medication administration, assessments, and care planning as appropriate
- Perform related nursing and administrative tasks as required by the community
Education
- Graduate of an accredited or state-approved school of practical nursing
- Completion of required clinical training/rotations
