Licensed Nursing Home Administrator - Otterbein Staffing Agency

Otterbein SeniorLife is a faith-based, not-for-profit provider of senior living services across Ohio and Indiana. Through the Otterbein Staffing Agency (OSA) we seek experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrators to serve in PRN/interim roles overseeing day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes and person-centered care across multiple Neighborhoods and Communities. This role is ideal for leaders who enjoy variety, travel, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent leadership position when openings arise.

Skills

  • Current Ohio Nursing Home Administrator license
  • Proven long-term care leadership and regulatory knowledge
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and transitions
  • Emergency and risk management capability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned Neighborhoods and Communities, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance
  • Champion Otterbein culture and person-centered care practices
  • Develop and maintain communication with elders, families, and partners; resolve concerns and strengthen engagement
  • Provide leadership and direction to Clinical Support Team and department leaders
  • Drive quality outcomes, financial performance, and regulatory compliance
  • Select, coach, mentor staff and foster a collaborative culture
  • Represent Otterbein in marketing, public relations, and community outreach
  • Serve as risk manager and participate in Quality Assurance activities

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health/Long-Term Care Administration, Business, Gerontology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Current Ohio Nursing Home Administrator license
