Join NVIDIA's purposeful Trustworthy AI Team as a Product Manager focusing on Low-Resource Language Models and Language-Based AI Products in New York, NY, USA. This outstanding role centers on advancing our work in low-resource language large language models (LLMs) and AI tools, encouraging linguistic equity, cultural preservation, and responsible AI development. As a groundbreaking team member, you will help bridge gaps between technical goals and community needs, ensuring our innovative language inclusion projects are flawlessly implemented.
What you'll be doing:
Lead and coordinate initiatives that support low-resource language AI projects, aligning them with NVIDIA's ambitious organizational goals.
Engage with linguists, language communities, NGOs, researchers, and policymakers to inform and successfully implement program priorities.
Maintain AI model behavioral policies to ensure alignment with ethical standards, legal requirements, and user impacts across diverse contexts.
Contribute to the broader policy landscape by promoting NVIDIA’s AI behavior guidelines and providing feedback to the community to support responsible AI development.
Identify linguistic tactics used to bypass guardrails and develop adversarial test sets or fine-tuned models to strengthen AI defenses against prompt circumvention.
Identify and mitigate potential ethical, sociocultural, and governance risks, in collaboration with responsible AI and legal teams.
What we need to see:
5+ years of experience in program or product management, preferably in AI/ML, NLP, or social impact technology.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or a closely related field or a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in one of these fields with substantial industry experience in natural language processing (NLP), adversarial ML, and dataset creation for AI models may also be acceptable.
Proven track record of managing interdisciplinary and multicultural projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on documentation, prioritization, and reporting.
Familiarity with LLMs, language data lifecycles, or multilingual NLP.
Passion for linguistic diversity, digital equity, and inclusive AI.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background in computational linguistics, sociolinguistics, or data governance.
Experience with international or community-centered technology projects.
Fluency or proficiency in a non-English, especially a low-resource language.
Experience in open-source, humanitarian tech, or nonprofit environments.
