E-Commerce Product Manager
Skills
- Technical product management with hands-on experience alongside developers and IT
- Systems integration knowledge (APIs, data models, architecture)
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms (WMS, ERP, CRM) and integration patterns
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
- Strong stakeholder alignment, prioritization, and roadmap planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, discovery, and execution for complex integrations, enhancements, and website/app features.
- Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on business impact, technical complexity, and resources.
- Collaborate with developers and IT to define technical requirements and ensure feasibility.
- Translate business needs for technical teams and advocate for technical best practices.
- Drive technical solutioning sessions covering architecture, data flows, and system design.
- Own the product backlog; write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation in JIRA/Confluence.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Support end-to-end testing, QA, and validation for implementations and integrations.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate periodic onsite collaboration (travel to Melville, NY ~6x/year) and support cross-team initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) or equivalent experience
