Help Desk Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Helpdesk Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support for computers, printers, mobile devices, networking, controlled access systems, virtualization platforms, and other IT-related equipment. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills, a willingness to work in both office and field settings, and the ability to handle physical tasks as part of their daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support for end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support and maintain computers, dashcams, printers, scanners, mobile devices, networking equipment, and controlled access systems.
- Install, configure, and update IT hardware and software as required..
- Document all work performed in the company’s ticketing system.
- Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Update and Maintain internal Knowledgebase.
- Maintain and organize IT equipment inventory.
- Perform physically active tasks, including:
- Lifting and moving electronics weighing up 75 pounds.
- Bending, squatting, or kneeling as needed to access equipment and cabling.
- Cable management, asset management and pre staging equipment as needed.
- Drive a company-provided vehicle to various company sites as needed. Travel will typically be between Burlington, WA and Olympia, WA, but may extend further depending on evolving business needs.
- Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of IT support experience or equivalent education/training.
- Knowledge of Windows, iOS, Android, operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) Samsung Knox and Intune.
- Proven troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently (self motivated)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, bend, squat, and kneel as part of daily job functions.
- Experience troubleshooting Entra-joined Windows devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Hypervisors such as Hyper-V and Proxmox.
- Understanding of USB server or USB-over-IP technology.
- Experience deploying Unify infrastructure.
- Experience running ethernet cabling, tracing & terminating.
- Experience with controlled access systems or security hardware.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Experience with various Microsoft Admin centers including 365, Intune, Entra, and Azure.
- Experience with SCIM, SSO, and SAML configurations.
- Experience in a HIPPA related environments.
- Experience in Healthcare related fields.
- Experience with macOS and Linux.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, Monday - Friday on site (non remote) with flexibility for start/end times except for required Friday availability.
- Occasional after-hours, early-hours or weekend work may be required for urgent issues, scheduled maintenance, or new deployments and upgrades.

Must Have's
- Active driver's license - must have maintained for 2 years or longer.
- Clean driving record - limit of 2 citations in past 36 months; DUI and other serious offenses may disqualify candidacy.

Wage
$27-$29 per hour DOE
