Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and document large, complex software features across the SDLC
- Build and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable data services and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain distributed systems with high availability
- Perform data modeling, warehousing, and work with extremely large datasets
- Write design documents, technical specifications, and unit/integration tests
- Develop and maintain APIs to support client-server communication
- Implement security best practices to protect user data and prevent spam/abuse
- Participate in peer code reviews and ensure engineering standards are met
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent)
- Master’s degree accepted as alternative with reduced experience requirement
