Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

NBC Sports Next, a division of ‘Versant’, is where sports and technology intersect. We’re fueled by our mission to innovate, create larger-than-life events and connect with sports fans through technology. We’re a subdivision of NBC Sports and home to leading technology platforms and digital applications for Youth & Recreational Sports; Golf; and Emerging Media.    

We’re looking for a results-driven Marketing Campaign Specialist to help us grow our member base through effective, high-impact campaign execution. In this role, you'll manage day-to-day campaign development and execution, working closely with cross-functional partners in creative, paid media, email/CRM, product, and analytics. You’ll bring a strong eye for detail, a passion for acquisition marketing, and a data-informed mindset to everything you do. 

In this role, you will be a part of the larger NBC Sports Next and Fandango Direct-to-Consumer team. You’ll report to the Senior Manager, GolfPass Member Growth & Marketing. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create go-to-market plans for every acquisition initiative, inclusive of overarching campaign strategy, defining KPIs, creative and messaging direction, and media mix. 

  • Complete, submit, and project manage creative briefs – working with the creative team to develop campaign assets and messaging that align with brand voice and business goals. 

  • Monitor performance in real time and optimize as needed to meet campaign goals. 

  • AB test messaging, landing pages, and targeting strategies to improve conversion rates. 

  • Collaborate with analytics to produce campaign wrap-up reports. 

  • Maintain campaign calendars and ensure deadlines are met for launches. 

  • Identify trends, surface insights, and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of media. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in a campaign or media execution role. 
  • Experience building go-to-market plans and working cross-functionally with teams (creative, analytics, paid media, CRM/email). 
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset. 
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, data-driven environments. 
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) or subscription-based businesses. 
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CMS tools, Looker, Tableau or similar platforms). 
  • Experience planning, building, and running AB tests. 
  • A proactive, self-motivator who can take direction and produce tangible results. 
  • Ability to anticipate and accommodate needs, requests, and issues. 
  • Creative confidence and an ability to contribute ideas in a creative group atmosphere. 

Additional Job Requirements 

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as a hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. 
  • Must be willing to work in the Orlando, FL office.
