Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Versant is looking for a forward-thinking Director of Podcasts and Livestreaming to lead our strategy and operations in these fast-evolving formats. This role is equal parts relationship-builder, technical expert, and creative instigator.
You will be the point person for key partnerships with platform providers—ensuring we’re not just keeping up with changes but influencing the roadmaps that define the future of digital media.
You'll lead efforts to elevate our standards, workflows, and creative output across news, sports, lifestyle, and entertainment content.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage an agile team that supports editorial innovation, trains staff on best practices and delivers content that cuts through the noise. You’ll work hands-on with stakeholders in newsrooms, control rooms, and production hubs to spot friction points and drive real-time solutions.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
Salary range: $150,000- $200,000 (bonus & LTI eligible)
