Assistant Director, Workforce Services

In this role you will provide strategic leadership for Natcast's workforce development initiatives, driving excellence in workforce development program management while assisting in leading a high-performing team that is working to strengthen the nation’s ecosystem for developing semiconductor talent. Every day you will design processes, manage workstreams, iteratively improve services, and build collaborative internal and external relationships in partnership with senior leadership at the NSTC Workforce Center of Excellence to advance Natcast's mission of developing world-class semiconductor talent in the United States.
To thrive in this role, you must be able to translate a strategic vision into detailed plans for implementation and continuous improvement. You will need to design workforce initiatives, set standards for monitoring program performance, manage projects to deadlines, and guide teams to successful achievement of workforce development goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills
• 8+ years experience in program or project management
• 5+ years experience in workforce development or closely related fields
• 3+ years experience managing a portfolio of multiple complex programs
• Substantial experience with program evaluation, performance monitoring and optimization
• Experience translating a strategic vision into detailed work plans
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated team management and mentoring experience
• Must be willing to travel domestically to represent Natcast
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Proven track record of building and managing newly formed teams
• Semiconductor industry experience
• Experience with federal or state workforce programs
• Knowledge of educational program development
• Background in technical training or education
• Experience with public-private partnerships
• Track record of strategic initiative development
