Job Summary

This position is responsible for analyzing enrollment data, developing insightful visualizations, and generating comprehensive reports, both visual and written, to strategically support the diverse needs of the Enrollment Management division and contribute to university-wide strategic enrollment decision-making. This person will work closely with enrollment management staff, stakeholders, and other departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights. Their work will help bridge together the departments within Enrollment Management and expand the data informed decision making, a key component of continuing the division’s goal of “Soaring to SUccess.”

Authority and Accountability

This position will report to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. This position may oversee graduate assistant positions and undergraduate student workers. This position will not have budget making authority. 

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required, with a preferred degree in a related field (e.g., data science, statistics, business analytics). 3-5 years working in enrollment, recruitment, or data reporting fields. Outstanding writing, communication and interpersonal skills.  Must be a strategic thinker and problem solver with strong analytical skills. Experience in using statistical methods to analyze data. Project management skills including planning, organization, time management and prioritization.  Must be flexible and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working well under pressure, independently and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree and experience supporting enrollment at the collegiate level. Strong experience with Power BI, including creating and maintaining reports and dashboards. Relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using Power BI. Knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization techniques within Power BI. SQL knowledge, experience with other data visualization tools, and experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
