As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Coordination Specialist to support NOAA’s Office of Response and Restoration’s Emergency Response Division (ERD) by providing critical support across internal operations, document management, emergency response logistics, and communications. This role will provide critical administrative and programmatic support to ERD leadership and staff, while also contributing to internal communications, knowledge management, outreach, and emergency response coordination.
This is a hands-on administrative role with broad scope, requiring a detail-oriented and resourceful individual who thrives in a multidisciplinary, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience with file and data management systems, and strong writing skills with the ability to translate technical information for general audiences. The position will operate on a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in office per week, and 2 days of optional telework.
