We are looking for a motivated Carrier Procurement Representative to join our team! We are seeking a competitive, self-starting, and results oriented candidate that’s unafraid of challenges and ready to help build solutions for some of the biggest companies in the world.


In this role, you will get to develop and nurture new carrier relationships through prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling. You’ll collaborate with our Sales and Operations teams to create and implement solutions for our customer partners. This is an integral role in the operation of our business with significant room for future growth.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Negotiate market-driven rates and ensure shipment on-time 
  • Enable our carrier partners and drivers to utilize our cutting-edge online platform to communicate, book and track loads autonomously
  • Support Loadsmart’s shippers with customized transportation solutions to support their long-term consistent business
  • Drive efficiencies through utilization of best-in-class technology tools


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong attention to detail and showcases proactiveness
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Carrier Procurement/Sales a plus, but not required
  • Able to tackle issues head on and create resolution with urgency


$45,000 - $50,000 a year
The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, the candidate’s experience and expertise. In addition to your base compensation offer, this role is eligible for an incentive bonus, stock options and benefits listed below.
