Skills
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and employment laws across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
- Experience with global payroll systems such as UKG (Ultipro), Activpayroll, Activ8.
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with Fidelity, Pangburn, Manulife, and Concur Expense Reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee accurate processing of semi-monthly payroll globally including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
- Develop and implement consistent payroll policies and controls across all regions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local payroll laws and internal policies.
- Analyze and improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Generate payroll reports and provide insights to Finance leadership.
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain trust.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal for payroll alignment with benefits and tax regulations.
- Manage relationships with third-party payroll vendors to optimize service and costs.
- Lead and mentor the payroll team fostering collaboration and growth.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
