At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in New York, San Francisco, or Mountain View.
We are seeking a highly strategic and operationally strong Chief of Staff to join LinkedIn’s Growth, Performance & Operations (GPO) team within the Marketing organization. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of GPO and the leadership team, driving day-to-day execution of key priorities while advancing the strategic agenda and narrative of the organization. This role will be pivotal in ensuring operational excellence through effective processes and a strong rhythm of business.
The GPO team is made up of seasoned subject-matter experts with deep experience, bold vision, and an outcome-oriented approach, driving LinkedIn’s growth through best-in-class marketing, technology, and capabilities.
To succeed in this role, the Chief of Staff must bring a strategic mindset, operational discipline, technological curiosity, and strong communication skills. This includes learning the business and the team’s work in depth, identifying what matters most, and developing practical action plans that deliver measurable impact.
A passion for technology will enable the Chief of Staff to understand and appreciate the team’s work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and marketing — where art meets science. Strong communication skills will be essential to develop a clear internal and external narrative that keeps the team engaged, builds cross-functional alignment, and demonstrates GPO’s impact on LinkedIn’s growth.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling highly sensitive information, challenging the status quo, and thriving in a fast-changing environment, all while inspiring excellence across the team. They will have a proven track record of helping teams excel through analysis, strategy, communication, and operational rigor.
As a key member of the GPO leadership team, the Chief of Staff will participate in strategy discussions, lead initiatives, manage planning and execution, oversee budgets, and communicate results. They will also collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Chief of Staff community to connect strategy, operations, and relationships across the global organization.
