Customer Support Assistant (CSA)

If you’re looking for an outstanding opportunity to learn, grow, and begin a long-term career in insurance, Nasburg Huggins Insurance, a Leavitt Group affiliate in Coos Bay, Oregon, is looking for a Customer Support Assistant (CSA) to join our team.

Job Description:

As a CSA, you’ll play a vital role in the daily operations of our agency. This is an entry point into the insurance industry with on-the-job training, professional development, and company-paid licensing. You'll be mentored by experienced account managers and team leaders as you gain exposure to commercial lines support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer support by greeting customers, posting payments, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and determining the needs of the customer

  • Processing and scanning all incoming mail; preparing and processing outgoing mail

  • Supporting Account Managers with special projects and client development

  • Obtaining the Oregon Property and Casualty Insurance License

Once licensed, you will provide additional Commercial and Personal lines support where you will receive advanced insurance customer service training and be mentored by experienced Account managers, Sales Executives and Producers. We provide and pay for license training and test.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail oriented, excellent follow-through

  • Demonstrable experience with Windows, Outlook, Word and, Excel. Excellent keyboarding skills and overall computer skills

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage workload in digital workflows

  • Office/administrative experience is preferred but not required

  • High School Diploma/GED Required, Associates Degree preferred

Beginning wages are dependent upon experience and existing insurance licensees will be considered.
