This is your chance to shape operational systems at a fast-moving YC startup that's already gaining serious momentum. As a Founding Operations, you will build what has never existed before and lay the foundation for a business on track for rapid growth ($10M+ ARR journey). You’ll work side-by-side with founders and have genuine influence in designing how the company scales—from compliance and quality assurance to customer delivery. As the operational anchor, your work will enable exceptional speed, execution, and customer outcomes.
Be the go-to operator for the founders and run complex projects end-to-end
Design and implement scalable processes that support execution speed and operational excellence
Manage external contractors and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Help define and maintain team norms, internal documentation, and coordination rituals
Build and refine systems that support customer delivery at scale
Proactively identify operational gaps and build solutions without waiting for direction
Thrive in ambiguity, turning undefined problems into clear plans and results
At least 1 year of experience in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience building or founding something from scratch (e.g., startup, project, operational system, community)
Demonstrated skill in taking complex, ambiguous challenges 0 → 1
Strong written and asynchronous communication skills
Strong in-person culture and ability to work in San Francisco

Competitive compensation: $150,000–$200,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
