Manager - Accessibility Impact, Experience, and Education

LA28 is the independent, privately funded, nonprofit Organizing Committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Manager, Accessibility Impact, Experience & Education will embed accessibility and inclusion across Games experiences by leading partnership engagement, developing education programs, defining experience metrics, and advancing a long-term accessibility legacy in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of ADA, Sections 504/508, and relevant California accessibility codes
  • Experience designing and delivering accessibility education and awareness programs
  • Ability to develop experience measurement tools and analyze accessibility data
  • Proven stakeholder partnership and relationship-building with government, advocacy, and sport organizations
  • Strong public speaking, facilitation, and written communication skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects with cultural sensitivity and inclusion focus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement accessibility and inclusion goals for athletes, spectators, and workforce experiences across Games venues and programs
  • Define, track, and report metrics to measure accessibility outcomes and user experience
  • Coordinate with IPC, USOPC, city agencies, advocacy organizations, and community partners to shape inclusive Games experiences
  • Represent Accessibility (ACS) in cross-functional working groups related to fan experience, cultural programs, and legacy initiatives
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, and Communications to integrate accessibility principles into campaigns and storytelling
  • Design and oversee accessibility education resources, workshops, and awareness programs for internal staff and external partners
  • Partner with Training & Enablement to develop and deliver accessibility awareness modules across the organization
  • Research global best practices from previous Games and major events and contribute to post-Games legacy reporting

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Communications, or a related field
  • Specialized certifications or professional development in disability awareness and inclusion preferred
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analytics and project management tools is a plus

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $88,000 - $115,000
