Games Management System Manager – Transportation and Mobility

LA28 is the independent, privately funded nonprofit organizing committee delivering the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. The Games Management System (GMS) Manager – Transportation and Mobility Applications will lead requirements, testing, and integration efforts for transportation- and torch-related systems, coordinating across service providers and LA28 business teams to ensure timely delivery of functional, accessible technical solutions.

Skills

  • Experience delivering SaaS applications within an SDLC framework
  • Project or product management experience (Agile and Waterfall)
  • Experience with 3rd-party licensed or custom-built applications
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira)
  • Stakeholder management across diverse teams and vendors
  • Testing, UAT, and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of accessibility and cyber security requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills

Responsibilities

  • Document current and future state processes with business teams and service providers
  • Elicit, discover, and document functional requirements for Torch and Transportation systems
  • Track delivered functionality against project schedules and milestones
  • Assess system architecture and identify impacts to integrated platforms
  • Validate technical solutions against requirements to ensure they meet business needs
  • Manage risks and issues, recommending and implementing mitigation actions
  • Support testing and troubleshooting; create and manage System Integration and UAT test cases
  • Document and communicate bugs/issues and follow through to resolution
  • Produce technical and user-facing documentation (user guides, training material)
  • Analyze data sets (e.g., Excel) to identify gaps, discrepancies, and perform simple transformations
  • Ensure delivered platforms meet accessibility standards
  • Manage system integration into LA28 architecture ensuring cyber security and service delivery compliance

Education

  • Experience in delivery of technical systems (equivalent professional experience acceptable)
  • No specific degree required; relevant technical or project delivery background preferred
