KPFF Seattle’s Transportation Team focuses on designing infrastructure that moves people and connects communities across the region. We work on a wide range of transit and transportation projects, including roadway and trail improvements, fish passage enhancements, and major infrastructure efforts throughout the Puget Sound and Pacific Northwest. Our team supports projects from early planning and feasibility through design, permitting, and construction. We collaborate closely with public agencies, transit authorities, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver thoughtful, sustainable solutions that improve mobility, restore natural systems, and strengthen the built environment.
Located in downtown Seattle, our office is now accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Transportation Engineering Internship. This position will provide the opportunity for you to get involved in real-world projects from day one. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real projects, gaining hands-on experience and building the skills needed to succeed in the industry, as well as:
