Lending Operations Specialist - REMOTE (Central, Mountain and Pacific Time Zones)

Knock is a consumer-focused proptech company that offers the Knock Bridge Loan™ to help homebuyers buy before they sell. They are looking for a detail-oriented Lending Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end bridge loan closings, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with internal and external partners, and deliver an outstanding customer experience across Pacific, Mountain, and Central time zones.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of TRID and federal mortgage disclosure rules
  • Experience preparing and auditing Closing Disclosures and Loan Estimates
  • Proficiency with Encompass or similar LOS platforms
  • Title report and insurance review experience
  • Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working 100% remotely with distributed teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the bridge loan cycle including loan setup, disclosures, closing preparation, and funding
  • Prepare and issue initial and revised Loan Estimates and Initial Closing Disclosures in compliance with TRID and APR requirements
  • Gather and verify required documentation for submission to processing/underwriting and ensure minimum submission requirements are met
  • Calculate bridge loan advance amounts using internal guidelines and reconcile loan-level data
  • Review title reports and homeowners/flood insurance to confirm lien position and security interest
  • Coordinate with settlement partners and loan service vendors to ensure accurate data transfer and on-time closings
  • Prepare, audit, and validate closing packages and signed documents prior to funding
  • Communicate loan status updates consistently to internal teams, lending partners, agents, and borrowers
  • Enter and maintain accurate loan data in Encompass and other LOS tools
  • Resolve closing issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer service and turn times
  • Support cross-functional teammates, mentor peers, and take on ad-hoc projects as needed

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Relevant mortgage industry training or certifications (preferred)
