The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Growth Strategy Associate to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our commercial and go-to-market initiatives while ensuring smooth operational workflows. Leveraging your prior strategy consulting experience at top-tier firms like McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, and business development experience with early-stage organizations, you will help drive the company's growth and expansion by delivering actionable insights, identifying new commercial and customer opportunities, and implementing efficient processes.

Reporting to the Director of Growth Strategy,, the Senior Growth Strategy Associate will lead an array of go-to-market initiatives spanning top-of-funnel sales and go-to-market strategy, sales collateral development, customer engagement, and commercial workflow automation and productivity improvement. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a lean, high-growth health technology organization to help shape the commercial direction. The Senior Associate will have an opportunity for tremendous growth and development in all aspects of the business and will help enable better mental health access and outcomes for all.

Responsibilities

  • Top-of-Funnel Sales Strategy and Execution: Utilize existing and new AI and automation tools to create customized outreach to customer targets fitting Kintsugi’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Track response and conversion rates to identify areas for continuous improvement.

  • Customer Discovery and Insights: Conduct customer and segment research to identify customers’ biggest pain points and strategies around behavioral health, developing hypotheses as to how Kintsugi can help address their key challenges.

  • Value Proposition Development and Storybuilding: Synthesize insights into succinct and compelling narratives positioned appropriately for each customer prospect. Develop financial models that demonstrate the value and ROI of Kintsugi to customers across healthcare segments.

  • Sales Collateral: Create customized presentations and sales collateral to support effective engagements with customers as they move through the sales funnel

  • Commercial Strategy: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to develop and refine the company's overall strategic direction, growth plans, and competitive positioning within the mental health industry.

  • Commercial Planning: Support Sales and Marketing with comprehensive roadmap development and execution, integrated across Commercial, Product, and Clinical initiatives

  • Project Management: Lead and support internal and customer-facing cross-functional projects, working closely with teams from different departments to drive execution and deliver results within deadlines.

  • Process Improvement: Examine and benchmark go-to-market workflows for continuous efficiency improvement

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, and industry experts, to gather insights, build relationships, and drive partnerships that align with the company's mission.

  • Team Development: Mentor and provide guidance to other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Prior experience (2+ years) in strategy consulting at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or other top-tier consulting firms strongly preferred. Must have significant experience developing customer-facing presentations and collateral materials focused on driving sales and go-to-market motions.

  • Prior experience in a Commercial (e.g., Business Development, Growth, Sales Strategy) role at an early-stage health startup is strongly preferred.

  • Interest in and experience with go-to-market and sales development AI tools such as Amplemarket, 11x, etc. to help support sales pipeline development strongly preferred.

  • Passion for mental health and a genuine interest in making a positive impact in the field.

  • Strong understanding of the mental health landscape, including market trends, challenges, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Exceptional project management abilities with a proven track record of leading and executing complex initiatives.

  • Strong collaborative spirit required. You must be energized by working with and leading cross-functional teams, being a team player, and empathizing with both customers and team members.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapt to change, and work effectively under pressure.
