Kimberly-Clark’s global Transformation team has played a key role in operationalizing the Powering Care strategy which was announced in March 2024.  At Kimberly-Clark we have been transforming for over 150 years to meet the evolving needs and behaviors of consumers, out play competition and stay ahead of an increasingly disruptive environment.   The transformation team shapes, leads and supports enterprise efforts to transform our path to growth, cost effectiveness and how we work as an organization. 

The Director of Transformation plays a pivotal enterprise role at the intersection of strategy and execution. Sitting within the Transformation team, this leader ensures the company remains focused on what matters most—translating top-level ambition into aligned, actionable priorities that fuel long-term growth. By shaping and stewarding the ELT strategic priorities, the Director drives enterprise clarity, focus, and follow-through. 

This is an impact-driven role for a strategic operator who thrives in ambiguity, influences across functions, and brings sharp thinking and disciplined execution. The Director partners closely with Corporate Strategy, CEO/COO Chief of Staff, senior leaders, and initiative teams to shape enterprise priorities and ensure focus, progress and attention to drive success.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, Segment Presidents and Global Functional leaders to shape and align on the priorities that are critical to deliver on Kimberly-Clark’s strategic and transformation ambition
  • Drive discussion and debate with leadership on prioritization, trade-offs, and key strategic decisions using a combination of facts, judgment, and personal impact to build credibility and influence outcomes.  
  • Develop and execute on the approach to ensure priorities are set up for success with credible plans, resourcing, investment and leadership attention; ensure process for strategic input, decision making, escalation and roadblock removal is integrated into company operating rhythm
  • Partner with teams to drive to outcomes; act as a thought partner on full potential opportunity, strategic choices, and acceleration and/or de-risking of value delivery
  • Build mechanism to understand progress against opportunity, build accountability and identify and resolve/mitigate any gap/risk
  • Provide targeted, high-impact support on critical initiatives directly or by mobilizing internal strategy, transformation, consulting, or initiative teams as needed. 
  • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to continuously improve Kimberly-Clark’s performance.

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • MBA from top-tier business school highly preferred
  • 10+ years of business experience in strategy consulting, related business analysis, functional line experience within strategy, marketing, finance, operations, or sales analytics with a history of demonstrated business success.

The ideal candidate possesses the following skills, characteristics and experiences:

  • Written and Verbal Communication: Outstanding communication, storytelling and presentation skills, including experience in creating presentations of C-Suit executive and Board of Directors, demonstrated through strong PowerPoint / deck-writing skills; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience.
  • Structured Problem Solving: Brings structure to ambiguous problems and possesses the ability to frame key questions and develop a workplan to answer them.
  • Analytical and Quantitative: Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to independently generate strategic insights.
  • Executive Stakeholder Relationships: Demonstrates confidence, decisiveness, self-assurance and easily builds trust with team members and executives.
  • Business Judgment: Possesses insight and understanding in dealing with risks and opportunities in business that are likely to lead to favorable outcomes.
  • Initiative and Motivation: Highly motivated self-starter who is performance driven.
  • Consumer (CPG and Retail) Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of key players, dynamics and trends, key industry analyses and metrics, etc.
  • Engaging and Collaborative: Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Influence and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Agile and Versatile: Demonstrated track record of success working in a fast-paced setting.

Scope of Experience: Experience working in the context of a large, complex, matrixed global organization in which working across boundaries and leading through influence are keys to success.

Salary Range: 181.220 – 234.260 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
