Sr. Specialist, Scheduling/PlanningKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
KBR is looking for a Senior Specialist to solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls. The incumbent uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
This position is assigned to a client site team in Belle, WV. Work will be performed full time at site. No relocation or per diem will be offered. This role is an integrated role in an already stablished Site team.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling.
Coordinates with procurement and material managers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply.
Develop & monitor overall & integrated schedules for industrial engineering projects and maintenance
Develop resource loading plans, monitor work measurement progress, coordinate with disciplines to analyze deliverables sequencing and earned value system.
Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Engineering Degree preferred
5+ years scheduling/planning experience on engineering/construction projects
Proficient in P6 and MS Project
Requires knowledge of sequencing engineering maintenance and construction activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
Excellent communication skills and ability to function within a project team
