KBR is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Analyzes system requirements and provides support to design and development activities.
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
Provides technical guidance and support for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Provides technical support to application and tool development teams.
Coordinates with software architect and other technical delivery team members to overcome technical obstacles.
Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Communicates with other program personnel and government staff
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Three (3) or more years’ experience with system requirements, system development and implementation, system testing, etc.
Experience supporting the federal government or DoD
Active TS/SCI clearance is required
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to derive an understanding of stakeholder needs and functions that may be logically inferred and implied as essential to system effectiveness from system requirements
Experience supporting system requirements and system integration at the enterprise level
Experience following a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces
Experience with Agile project management principles and processes
Clearance: TS/SCI w Poly required
Basic Compensation:
$84,300 - $126,400
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
