Virtual Resource Nurse

Accountabilities:

• Deliver expert virtual nursing care to a diverse adult population across hospital, skilled nursing, and in-home settings.
• Partner closely with care teams to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and serve as a mentor and coach to fellow nurses.
• Supervise and direct support staff to ensure compliance with evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient status using advanced telemetry and clinical tools.
• Identify risks and define appropriate interventions using critical thinking and clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate documentation using various EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary remote teams and originating sites for care coordination.

• At least 5 years of recent experience in acute, critical care, or step-down settings.
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership capacity, guiding hospital staff on clinical workflows.
• Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and virtual care protocols.
• Proficiency in Windows-based systems and EHR platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Valid RN licensure (or compact license) and ability to acquire additional licenses.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (PALS and EKG certifications are a plus).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage care across diverse settings.
