Technical Program Manager (Remote - US or Canada)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Program Manager in the United States and Canada.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology initiatives impacting customer-facing products. This role offers the opportunity to manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure program objectives are achieved on time and within scope. You will drive Agile project delivery, manage risks and dependencies, and act as a key change agent to improve processes and optimize team performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing strategic oversight with attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering high-quality technical solutions while fostering a strong team culture.

Accountabilities

  • Lead large, complex programs from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and product objectives.
  • Plan and manage project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables using Agile methodology, including epics, user stories, and project increment planning.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors, assigning responsibilities and monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis to ensure product goals are met.
  • Serve as a change agent, supporting the development and deployment of project management standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide transparent reporting to all levels of the organization.

  • 10+ years of experience in project or program delivery, with a focus on Agile environments.
  • Proven experience managing large, cross-functional programs that impact customer-facing products.
  • PMP and/or CSM certification is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC models and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage dependencies, and drive project execution.
  • Experience managing onshore, offshore, internal, and external vendor resources is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for improving processes, supporting team culture, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Competitive salary: USD $144,000–$155,000 (US) / CAD $130,000–$150,000 (Canada), with potential bonuses or additional compensation.
