This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Program Manager, AI and ML Software in the United States.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead high-impact AI and ML engineering programs, driving initiatives that support deep learning inference at scale. The Technical Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and tooling engineers, to ensure alignment and timely execution of complex projects. You will standardize planning, reporting, and execution practices, enabling data-driven decision-making and efficient delivery of AI software and hardware programs. This position requires strong strategic thinking, program management expertise, and the ability to navigate multi-time-zone teams while fostering collaboration and process improvement in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
· Plan, coordinate, and oversee AI and ML engineering programs to achieve key business objectives.
· Manage all aspects of program management, including scheduling, prioritization, dependency management, forecasting, and reporting.
· Guide engineering teams in agile methodologies and best practices for software and hardware development.
· Develop and track metrics to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
· Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on overall program status.
· Drive organizational alignment and efficiency through cross-functional coordination.
· Collaborate with hardware and software teams to implement and integrate inference libraries on new and existing platforms.
· Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 10+ years of program management experience, including leading global, multi-time-zone projects.
· Proven ability to think strategically and tactically, building consensus to drive program success.
· Hands-on experience in fast-paced software development environments.
· Strong knowledge of software engineering and hardware bring-up processes.
· Excellent communication, technical presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Detail-oriented, able to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and resolve technical issues or resource conflicts.
· Proficiency with Agile tools, reporting systems, and program management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI, open-source software, infrastructure technologies, and GPU platforms.
· Experience in software-hardware bring-up, production software development, and release management.
· Track record of driving process improvements and measuring efficiency across teams.
· Competitive base salary: $192,000–$304,750 USD for Level 5, $232,000–$368,000 USD for Level 6.
